From HotAir.com:
In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, we discovered that a failure to “connect the dots” left America unable to defend itself against 19 lunatics armed with boxcutters. The Fort Hood massacre had far fewer casualties, but all of them could have been avoided had the FBI informed the Pentagon that one of its high-ranking officers had a new al-Qaeda pen pal in Yemen.

After the Fort Hood shooting by the murdering Muslim Nidal Malik Hasan, who killed thirteen people, President Obama advised that we should not jump to conclusions.
We know that Nidal Malik Hasan was anti-war, praised suicide bombers, he yelled ALLAHU AKBAR before going on his shooting spree with a 357 and a FN Five-Seven (cop-killer pistol) semi-automatic pistol popular with SWAT teams, and in 2003 he said, “Muslims should rise up and kill the aggressors”.
Yet President Obama, who back in July claimed the police “acted stupidly” and a specific white cop was racist for arresting Henry Gates, is now telling Americans “don’t jump to conclusions” about Hasan.
Now …
“We don’t know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts. What we do know is that there are families, friends and an entire nation grieving right now for the valiant men and women who came under attack yesterday.”
Then …
“Now I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played in that. But I think it’s fair to say, number one, any of us would have been angry. And number two, the Cambridge Police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was proof they were already in their own home. And number three, what I think what we know separate and apart of this incident, there is a long history of African Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately. That is a sign of how race remains a factor in society.”
Makes me wonder if other people acted stupidly in November of 2008.
