Bob “Who Are You” Etheridge last week produced an advertisement that attacks his challenger, Palin-endorsed Renee Ellmers, on the health care issue: On Friday Ellmers responded with this video clip from her debate with Etheridge, in which he avoids her question about the government takeover of health care: Curious move by Etheridge, considering his District is anything but Pelosi-friendly , despite his long tenure. Charlie Cook has his district “leaning Democrat.” And I just noticed that Cook told Daily Caller that he’ll be “sacking groceries” if the Democrats retain the House.

Bob “Who are you?” Etheridge took another hit this morning from Americans for Job Security. Sucks to be Etheridge this go round. Meanwhile, Renee Ellmers is within striking distance. The Democrats are looking at losing a seat that should never have been in play at all. Thanks for that, Bob.

Certainly you remember Democrat Rep. Bob Etheridge of North Carolina, who a couple of months ago showed his passion for reportorial transparency: Well unsurprisingly, yesterday former Alaska Gov. Yesterday morning, I had the chance to speak with Renee Ellmers, who is running for Congress against Bob Etheridge (D-NC), he of man-handling those who dare to question him fame. Or, rather, infamy. Etheridge is a clear-cut example of the arrogance of those firmly entrenched in Washington, DC, which is what prompted Renee Ellmers to run in the first place. As a nurse, whose husband is a surgeon, she knew that doctors don’t nefariously lop off limbs nor reap tonsils willy nilly for cash money. She decided that she needed to speak out during the town halls that were meant to discuss the then proposed Obamacare legislation. Upon doing so, she saw the sneering contempt that Democrat Bob Etheridge had for his own constituents. This spurred her to run for the seat herself and she elaborates on that in the interview. We also discuss more of the unintended, and intended, consequences of Obamacare, her endorsement by the Susan B. Anthony list as a strong Pro-Life voice, Mama Grizzlies and what they stand for, Arizona’s immigration law, cap and trade and why Renee Ellmers thinks that carbon offsets/global warming is the greatest scam of the century.
